Between stops, the skipper will suggest swim spots inside the permitted areas. Expect wild coastline, seabirds and lizards on shore, and few other people. We ask guests to leave nothing behind: it is a protected place, and the rules on fishing, anchoring and landing are strict.

Cabrera is at its best from late May to early October. June and September combine warm water with settled weather and slightly easier permit availability, while July and August are the hottest and busiest months, so we recommend requesting dates early. Bring reef-safe sun cream, a hat, swimwear and a light layer for the crossing, plus your own snorkel gear if you have it. Motion-sickness tablets are worth packing if anyone in the group is sensitive, as the open-water passage can be lively on windier days.
